Security Trends in Mobile Cloud Computing, Web and Social Networking

EURASIP Journal on Information Security welcomes submissions to the new special issue on Security Trends in Mobile Cloud Computing, Web and Social Networking. 

Cyber security is an essential need for modern society where information technology and services pervade every aspect of our lives. However, it is challenging to achieve, as technology is changing at rapid speed and our systems turn into ever more complex. We are gradually more dependent upon such information and communications infrastructures, and the threats we face are organized and exploit our dependency by the attackers or cyber criminals. Moreover, cyber space is considered as fifth battle-field after land, air, water and space.

Mobile cloud computing, web and social networking have gained more and more attention in recent years. There are still significant security challenges in the development of cloud infrastructure, web and mobile terminal devices.

This special issue will focus on state-of-the-art research paradigms on security aspects in social networking, Web and cloud computing, particularly on advances in mobile computing technologies and related areas. Moreover, this issue will spotlight on the research challenges and issues in the mobile cloud computing security. This special issue is open for submission for high quality research contributions from academia and professionals. Original research papers and state of the art reviews will be accepted. We anticipate that the special issue will open new entrance for further research and technology improvements in this important area.

Submission instructions:

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure you have carefully read the Instructions for Authors for EURASIP Journal on Information Security. The complete manuscript should be submitted through the EURASIP Journal on Information Security submission system. To ensure that you submit to the correct special issue please select the appropriate section in the drop-down menu upon submission. In addition, indicate within your cover letter that you wish your manuscript to be considered as part of the special issue on Security Trends in Mobile Cloud Computing, Web and Social Networking. All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review and accepted articles will be published within the journal as a collection.
